St. Agnes, the beloved patron of our Teacher Training Institute for Special Education, is a shining example of purity, courage, and unwavering faith. Martyred at a young age in 4th-century Rome, she is honoured for her steadfast commitment to her faith and her deep spiritual strength. As the patron saint of young girls and those devoted to God’s service, St. Agnes inspires us to serve with love, dignity, and compassion.

Her legacy reminds us of the importance of nurturing every individual with care and respect, values that lie at the heart of special education.
